Physician Bio
Julia received her BA in biology from the University of Virginia before earning her master’s degree in Medical Genetics from the University of Cincinnati. Prior to joining Virginia Cancer Specialists as a certified genetic counselor, Julia worked as a research assistant in the Human Genetics Division at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, as well as a genetic counseling assistant where she supported a large team of genetic counselors and geneticists in Fairfax, Virginia.
She is licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine and is certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling.
In her spare time, Julia enjoys long walks through DC neighborhoods, exploring local coffee shops, and spending time with friends and family.
