Being able to guide patients and their families through their cancer journey is an honor. I was drawn most to medical oncology because it represents the intersection between personal relationships, individualized care, and cutting-edge science. It is a privilege to join Virginia Cancer Specialists and provide patients both comprehensive standard-of-care treatments as well as access to novel therapeutics from a deep clinical trial portfolio.
