Leyla Missaghi is a board-certified Physician Assistant currently practicing in the radiation oncology department at Virginia Cancer Specialists. In her role, she provides comprehensive clinical care to patients undergoing radiation therapy, supporting them through treatment planning, symptom management, and follow-up care.
With over four years of direct patient care experience, Leyla brings a strong foundation in oncology and family medicine. She previously served in gynecologic oncology, where she managed complex treatment plans, performed procedures such as biopsies and colposcopies, and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.
Leyla is passionate about improving patient outcomes and ensuring compassionate, evidence-based care. She is proficient in multiple electronic medical record systems, including EPIC, AllScripts, eClinicalWorks, and Athena.
